AI Developer

About the role

Our client is seeking a principal-level AI Developer in St.

Paul, MN (on-site) to own enterprise AI architecture while remaining hands-on in code.

What you'll do

• Own enterprise-wide AI technical architecture for scale, reliability, and business alignment.
• Lead complex AI initiatives from concept through production.
• Advise executives by translating technical strategy into business value.
• Establish governance and responsible/ethical AI frameworks.
• Mentor senior engineers through reviews, coaching, and standards.
• Anticipate industry trends and recommend emerging AI investments.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field.
• 15+ years in software engineering and applied AI.
• Strong production Python and distributed AI systems experience.
• Deep expertise across architecture, cloud, and data ecosystems.
• Executive-ready communication and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience standing up AI governance programs.
• Familiarity with emerging AI regulations.
• Prior principal/staff architecture ownership.
