IT Business Systems Analyst

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to analyze business processes and practices and focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives.

This role applies advanced analytical skills within the functional area and requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise.

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements into clear, concise functional specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate solutions against business requirements, and confirm proper functionality.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions to monitor and evaluate performance.
• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments of third-party vendors throughout the vendor lifecycle, including standard and expedited review processes.
• Analyze vendor security documentation, certifications, and compliance frameworks; manage security questionnaires and documentation review processes.
• Provide risk ratings, requirements, and recommendations for vendor engagements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• 6–10 years of experience in business analysis, IT systems analysis, and technology implementation.
• Strong understanding of project management processes and principles.
• Experience in IT budget forecasting.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as SAP, BOBJ, and BPC.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management or third-party risk assessment.
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CTPRA (Certified Third-Party Risk Assessor) certification.
