Physical Security Network Engineer

About the role

Our client is seeking a Physical Security Network Engineer in Juno Beach, FL (on-site) to support IP networking for cameras, access control, and related security systems.

This is a strong fit for early-career network talent who want hands-on enterprise exposure in a physical-security environment.

What you'll do

• Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, VLANs, switching, and PoE for security devices.
• Support IP camera and access-control network connectivity and basic device setup.
• Document network changes and escalate complex issues with clear findings.
• Partner with security and facilities stakeholders on installs and cutovers.
• Maintain inventory and cabling standards for on-site deployments.
• Participate in incident response for network-related security system outages.

What you'll bring

• Associate's or Bachelor's in IT (or equivalent experience).
• 0–3 years of IT or networking experience.
• Working knowledge of IP addressing, VLANs, switching, and PoE.
• Comfortable with hands-on on-site troubleshooting.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Exposure to IP camera platforms or access-control systems.
• CompTIA Network+ or similar certification.
• Basic scripting for network inventory or checks.
